What does it mean to be an association? We take this part of our identity seriously. Everything we do is connected to the needs and best interests of our members and cigar aficionados everywhere.
From our headquarters in Washington, D.C., CAA monitors potentially negative industry regulation and legislative efforts in every state. We’re always ready to act on issues that would impact our members’ ability to conduct business, responding to those situations as they arise through our extensive network of legislative advocates and legal experts. We also meet with regulators, initiating conversations and building relationships that prepare us to take the necessary steps to protect the industry. In these times when people are often divided, we’re proud that our advocacy at the federal level seeks bipartisan solutions whenever possible.
Our strength as an association has been built over many generations. CAA is the oldest industry trade association representing the entire cigar market. With origins that date back to 1890, CAA has advocated for the interests of the cigar industry for more than 130 years.
And today, we are here to represent YOUR interests. If there’s something we can do for you, or if you’d like more information about our work on behalf of members, visit Join CAA.
