How High Are Cigar Taxes in Your State?
Providing companies and organizations with basic data on tobacco tax rates for each state is a resource tool that we offer. On this page below, we have data on current excise tax rates for large cigars, little cigars and cigarettes, taxing little cigars as cigarettes, pipe tobacco, and smokeless tobacco in each state.
Please note that the maps are updated in January at the start of the calendar year, and in July after most state legislatures are adjourned sine die. You may view or download the pdf file for the each state tax map.
