Member Categories

Our association represents member companies from a broad range of sectors in the cigar industry. There are seven different membership categories. Annual membership dues vary for each category. 

Manufacturers

A company that manufactures cigars that are intended to be sold in the United States may apply to become a Manufacturer Member.

Distributors

A company that distributes cigars in the United States may apply to become a Distributor Member.

Importers

A company that imports cigars into the United States may apply to become an Importer Member.

Online Sales Company

A company that sells cigars to residents of the United States other than in a face-to-face transaction may apply to become an Online Sales Member.

Tobacco Supplier

A company that supplies tobacco to a cigar manufacturer whose cigars are sold in the United States may apply to become a Tobacco Supplier Member.

Other Supplier

A company that sells goods other than tobacco and/or services to any person or firm that qualifies as a Manufacturer, Distributor, Importer, Tobacco Supplier or Mail Order Member may apply to become an Other Supplier.

Supporting Member

A company that supports the cigar industry is eligible to apply to become a Supporting Member.

Additionally, we’re eager to hear about your involvement in the cigar industry, whether you represent a particular sector or how you support the industry in any capacity.

Submit Your Membership Application

If you are interested in exploring membership with us, we’ll promptly provide you with a membership application along with information about CAA.  Feel free to submit your application to us whenever you’re ready. We’re here to assist you every step of the way.

Resonate With Our Vision, Mission and Membership Values

Upon receiving your application, we’ll guide you through the membership process, addressing any inquiries you may have along the way. We’re committed to discussing how our collaboration can advance our shared vision and mission for the cigar industry.

Our Membership Committee Reviews Your Application

As a final step, your application will undergo a review by our CAA Membership Committee. The committee will schedule a meeting with you to discuss your application and address any questions you may have. Following this discussion, the Membership Committee will convene to vote on your application, and subsequently arrange for a follow-up meeting with you.
