Cigar Association of America Announces New President

The Cigar Association of America, Inc. (CAA) has named Scott Pearce as its incoming president, effective May 28, 2024. Pearce, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Premium Cigar Association (PCA), brings over 20 years of association experience to the role.

Chris Howard, a CAA Board Member and Chair of the search committee, praised Pearce’s ability to tackle industry challenges, particularly in premium cigars. “Scott is uniquely positioned to grow and bring innovative lobbying and advocacy to CAA,” Howard said. Pearce’s track record aligns with CAA’s goals of collaboration and advocacy.

Pearce expressed his eagerness to lead CAA, emphasizing the opportunity to create impactful programs for its members. His appointment signifies a new chapter for CAA, reinforcing its role as the leading national trade organization for the cigar industry.
