New Tariffs On All Imported Products: • A 10% Universal tariff on all countries effective April 5, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. EDT. • A higher individualized Reciprocal tariff rate for countries with a significant trade deficit, effective April 9, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. EDT. The new tariffs will remain in place until the President determines that the threat posed by the trade deficit or nonreciprocal treatment is satisfied or mitigated. It also allows for modification should trading partners retaliate or take significant steps toward remedy.
