Nicaragua continues to be the leading source of premium cigars outpacing second place Dominican Republic by over 60%, with 120 million cigars imported as of June 2024, marking a 3% increase from 2023. The average value per 1,000 cigars from Nicaragua was $1,1411 by midyear 2024, up from $1,314 for the same period in 2023.
